The Architecture of Intelligence: From Discrete Agency to Field-Based Cognition
This framework synthesises three convergent research streams — modular container-based hybrid architectures, Quantassical (quantum-classical hybrid) computation for NP-hard optimisation, and nature-inspired field-based algorithms grounded in universal physical principles. The central argument: the future of intelligence systems lies not in more sophisticated discrete agents, but in the dissolution of agency into ambient, field-based cognition — where planning becomes geodesic traversal, action emerges from physical continuum dynamics, and the boundary between agent and environment dissolves. Four interdependent pillars: a Causal-Reasoning Engine (Structural Causal Models), an Embodied Neuromorphic Loop, a Self-Evolving Meta-Learning engine, and a Quantum-Accelerated Optimisation layer exploiting Hilbert-space geometry.
